We saw out the summer in style at our very first Supper Club at Torrington Hall and we absolutely loved it! So much so that we begged to go back and guess what? they said yes. So, we are delighted to say that our next supper club event will take place on Saturday October 27th from 7:30 pm.
What’s Included.
Guests will be greeted from 7:30pm with a glass of fizz and a selection of canapés before sitting down, between 8 and half past, for a four course meal designed and prepared by Chef Sainlo.
Your Supper Menu
Roasted pumpkin soup with a soft poached quail egg baby spinach and wild mushrooms
Filet of plaice accompanied by seafood garnish
Roast venison with pomme Anna glazer roots vegetables juniper berries sauce
Classic French apple tart tatin with vanilla beans ice cream and toffee sauce

– We can accommodate vegetarians and specific dietary needs but please ensure you contact us in advance to let us know if you need any adjustments to the menu. There’s space for you to give us your dietary requirements on the booking form.
– This event is BYOB – if you would like advice on what goes well our friend Ferenc at Thirty Nine 10 always has a good idea
– There is an option to book in to stay at Torrington Hall please contact Sophie at Torrington Hall for details. There really is nothing quite like a Mooch around the beautiful city of St Albans on a Sunday morning, we highly recommend!
About Chef Sainlo
Jean-Luc Sainlo is a chef of over 20 years experience he has always been passionate about food deciding at age eleven that a career in the kitchen was the life for him. At age 16 Jean-Luc left Guadaloupe for France where he took the opportunity to further his passion for food and refine his raw talent in the gastronomic capital of Lyon. He took an apprenticeship with Michelin starred, Phillipe Chavent and completed his training before heading to the UK where he has worked in brigades for Gordon Ramsay and Jean-Christophe Novelli as well as heading up his own brigades in prestigious venues across London, including the Arts Club in Dover Street.
Now Jean-Luc delivers this high quality cuisine, cooked with passion, at your private and corporate events as well as hosting his own supper club series each year at various Hertfordshire venues.
