Our aim is to delight and excite our clients with exquisite flavours and to impress your guests with a beautifully presented and fulfilling meal.
Sainlo Events was founded in 2011 but the seed was sown many years before. Growing up around a culture of food and social eating in the Caribbean, with parents who cooked real meals with real food, gave Chef Jean-Luc Sainlo a taste for great cuisine. He quickly picked up an excellent sense of flavour and seasoning that runs through all of his dishes today.
Now all of this experience pours into his classic cuisine, created for clients in and around London and the home counties. From dinner parties and larger family occasions to corporate catering and networking events. He has a personal input into every menu, working with each client to ensure they receive the perfect meal to complement their event.

Jean-Luc Sainlo set up bespoke catering company Sainlo Events following a long career working in France and the UK with the likes of Philippe Chavent, Gordon Ramsay and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Jean-Luc has also headed up brigades in a number of top London clubs and restaurants, cooking for city executives, The BBC and the Digital Podge.

Jean Luc’s Cooking Style
Jean Luc loves to cook excellent food with fresh, seasonal ingredients. He has a broad experience but specialises in European and Nouvelle cuisine.
Wife and business partner Colleen manages the day to day running of Sainlo Events.
